SerperDev

Pipes real-time Google search results directly into Clay and n8n workflows.

Serper is deliberately dumb and cheap, and that's a feature. It returns Google search results as structured JSON at roughly $0.30 per 1,000 queries and nothing else: no page content, no summarization. By design it's step one of a two-step pipeline where a reader like Jina handles step two.

We pipe it into Clay and n8n workflows wherever a research step needs live results instead of a stale database. One caution: lower tiers enforce requests-per-second limits, so a burst-heavy Clay table can hit a wall if you don't pace it.

FAQ

What does Serper cost?

2,500 free queries with no card, then credit packs from roughly $0.30 per 1,000 queries (July 2026).

Where does it fit in an enrichment workflow?

Any Clay or n8n step that needs current search results: recent news, live job posts, or checking a claim is still true. Pair it with a reader for page content.
